Newcastle Falcons will open the new Gallagher Premiership season at home to Bristol Bears on Friday September 20, with fixtures for the 2024-25 campaign having been announced.

Round two sees Newcastle travelling to Harlequins before a home date with Leicester Tigers on Saturday October 5, a northern derby at Sale Sharks being followed by the visit of Exeter Chiefs to Kingston Park on Friday October 18.

After a trip to Gloucester the next visitors to Newcastle are Saracens on Friday November 29, while the popular pre-Christmas slot sees a home game against Bath Rugby on Saturday December 21.

All games up to and including that one boast confirmed dates and times, with every single Gallagher Premiership game shown live on TNT Sports and/or Discovery+. All subsequent league fixtures are listed as ‘weekend of’ pending confirmation of the TV picks.

Season tickets for the 2024/25 campaign are available by purchase now, starting from £185 for adults, £168 for concessions and £40 for under-18s.

The season ticket package includes all home group games in the EPCR Challenge Cup and Premiership Rugby Cup, with the European draw bringing home dates against Welsh side Dragons on Sunday December 15 and French outfit Montpellier on Friday January 17.

Newcastle’s last game of 2024 takes them to champions Northampton Saints, with the opening assignment of 2025 bringing Harlequins to the True North on Friday January 3.

A trip to Bristol on the last weekend of January precedes a two-month period where Premiership Rugby Cup games occupy the schedule, with the return to league action bring a northern derby at home to Sale Sharks on the weekend of March 22/23/24.

Easter weekend sees the visit of champions Northampton visiting Kingston Park, with Gloucester the next visitors on May 16/17/18.

The regular season comes to a climax on the last weekend of May with a trip to Leicester Tigers, with director of rugby Steve Diamond relishing the prospect of the coming campaign.

The Falcons made 11 new signings going into the new season, welcoming Brive centre Sammy Arnold, Glasgow flanker Tom Gordon, Edinburgh prop Luan de Bruin, Gloucester wing/centre Alex Hearle, Sale Sharks centre Connor Doherty, Leicester Tigers fly-half Kieran Wilkinson, Sale Sharks flanker Cameron Neild, Doncaster Knights back Jack Metcalf and England Students trio Max Pepper, Callum Hancock and Connor Hancock.

Five talented local players also step up to the senior academy with the signings of centre Rhys Beeckmans, scrum-half Joe Davis, fly-half Junior Newton, back-rower Reuben Parsons and fellow back-rower Charlie Turnbull.
