Falcons announce August double header
Kicking off at 2pm and 4.30pm (order of matches TBC), entry to both games is included in the package for Newcastle Falcons 2016-17 season ticket members, with only the West and East Stands open for the day. Season ticket members in the South and North Stands will be accommodated in the West Stand.
Tickets for non-season ticket members will go on sale shortly, entry for adults and concessions priced £20 for premium seating and £10 for standard seating, while all under-16s tickets are priced just £5.
The matches will give Falcons fans the chance to run the rule over the club’s summer influx, which currently stands at 10 following the arrivals of Vereniki Goneva (Leicester), Sam Lockwood (Jersey), Joel Hodgson (Yorkshire Carnegie), David Tameilau (USA), Nick Civetta (I Medicei), Andrew Davidson (Glasgow), Ben Sowrey (Worcester), Evan Olmstead (London Scottish), Harrison Orr (Ealing) and Sam Egerton (England 7s).
The visit of Doncaster is confirmed just a few days after the Knights more than played their part in a thrilling Championship final, winning away at Bristol but missing out on promotion on aggregate.
Rotherham and Newcastle renew rivalries after a host of meetings down the years, the double-header forming part of the Falcons’ pre-season preparation ahead of the new Aviva Premiership campaign.
The club will confirm a further two pre-season friendlies in due course, the entire schedule preceded by the Singha Premiership Rugby 7s Series. Newcastle Falcons host their home group stage at Kingston Park Stadium on Saturday July 30, where they will meet Leicester Tigers, Worcester Warriors and Sale Sharks.
Falcons season ticket members are entitled to two free tickets for the area in which they hold their season ticket, but must contact the club on 0871 226 6060 to reserve them by 5pm on June 10. These tickets will not be issued automatically.
Season ticket members can also purchase additional tickets, with every adult £10 or £20 ticket bought by a season ticket member coming with a free £10 voucher to spend on food, drink or in the shop on the day.
Non-season ticket members can book tickets for the Singha Premiership Rugby 7s Series, priced £20 for adult premium seating, £10 for standard seating or standing and £5 for all under-16s tickets.
Season ticket memberships for 2016-17 are available from £208 adults, £176 concessions, £70 under-16s and free for under-11s (two per paying adult). For more information on season ticket memberships [**click here**][1] , call 0871 226 6060 or visit the stadium box office during office hours.
