Monday 31 March 2014 Written by: Adam

Kingston Park, will host the third leg of the group stages as the hosts Newcastle Falcons take on Leicester Tigers, Sale Sharks and Worcester Warriors in Group C on Saturday 2nd August. The Premiership Rugby 7s Series will culminate in the Series Final at Harlequins’ Twickenham Stoop on Friday 8 August.

Director of rugby Dean Richards said: “It’s great news that Kingston Park has been chosen as one of the venues for this summer’s 7s series. Newcastle Falcons have an excellent record in 7s and we are looking forward to continuing that run on 2 August.

“It promises to be a really entertaining summer’s evening of sevens rugby – lots of tries, some great skills and a combination of exciting young emerging players together with a few more established ones.”

Tickets for the event cost £10 for adults/concessions and £5 for under-16s anywhere in the ground and are on sale now from the Falcons Ticket Office on 0871 226 6060 or [click here][1] to purchase online.

The 2014 Premiership Rugby 7s Series is split into three qualifying group stages, and a Series Final, contested by all 12 Aviva Premiership Rugby clubs. It is the only 7s event where you can watch the Aviva Premiership Rugby sides battle against one another.

The Premiership Rugby 7s kicks-off on 31 July at Kingsholm Stadium before the other group stages take place at Franklin’s Gardens and Kingston Park with the Series Final at the Twickenham Stoop.
