Monday’s well-attended gathering at Kingston Park Stadium’s 1877 saw unvetted questions put to a panel of Dean Richards (director of rugby), Mick Hogan (managing director) and Semore Kurdi (chairman).

Topics of discussion included player recruitment, refereeing, North Stand development plans, the USA game, player injuries, stewarding, car parking, England selection and coaching, among many other subjects.

Hogan said: “It’s really important that we host these regular forums with our supporters, and we always enjoy putting them on.

“It’s a chance for us to listen to the issues that really matter to the people who turn up and pay their money, and they are always held in a great spirit of openness and humour.

“There won’t be many clubs in professional sport who give such regular and unvetted access to the three main decision-makers, but it’s a vital part of what we are about and something we are keen to continue doing.”
