Kingston Park Stadium hosts a sportsman's dinner with a rugby league legend next Thursday
Falcons fans with an interest in Rugby League can spend an evening with a true legend of the game next Thursday, as sister club Newcastle Thunder host An Evening with Jamie Peacock at Kingston Park Stadium.
Peacock will be the guest of honour at the dinner, held in the West Stand at Kingston Park and will speak about his glittering career to the gathered guests, in the build up to the 2016 Dacia Magic Weekend.
Hosted in the Award Winning hospitality suites at Kingston Park Stadium, guests will dine and interact with the living legend, with opportunities for photos and to ask questions, to the former Super League Star.
Considered one of the best players of his generation, having won every honour in the domestic game, Peacock earned the respect of team mates and opponents on both hemispheres through his determination and commitment.
The former Super League Man of Steel said: “Coming to the North East is great opportunity and I’m looking forward to meeting people who are continuing to grow the sport.
“The spotlight is on the region again this year with the Dacia Magic Weekend returning to St James Park and Newcastle Thunder continuing to turn heads recently and I really want to take this chance to get to know the North East rugby community.
“There is a lot of potential for the game in the North East. It’s clubs are increasingly being recognised as tough competition for the more traditional teams, in the more established areas of Rugby and I really hope the development continues.
“The Magic weekend at St James’ was a great experience last year and I hope the Thursday night will add to that this year.”
Tickets cost £20 for adults and £10 for under 16’s with very few places remaining.
