The 16th Ward Hadaway Summer of Touch has concluded after yet another successful campaign.
The eight-week competition, held on Wednesday nights at Kingston Park Stadium, saw seven rounds of regular-season action followed by finals night.
Over 300 players played in the league over the eight weeks, scoring more than 1,100 tries in 258 games, with 23 teams competing.
Teams contained both males and females, consisting of rugby clubs, businesses and groups of friends enjoying fast-paced rugby action in a fun atmosphere.
At the end of the seven regular-season rounds teams were split into five tournaments for finals nights, with the winners as follows:
Cup: The Vests
Plate: Goneva Get Ya
Trophy: Shared by Green Eagle and Onyx Barbarians
Bowl: Midlife Crisis
Newcastle Falcons would like to thank Ward Hadaway for their generous backing of the ever-popular Summer of Touch, which is now in its 16th year.
