Friday 1 April 2016

New two-year agreement extends partnership first formed in 2013.

Leading lifestyle and heritage brand Barbour will remain the Official Clothing Partner of Newcastle Falcons, after agreeing a new two-year extension to their current partnership with the Aviva Premiership Rugby club.

Continuing a partnership that began in 2013, the world-renowned clothing retailer and manufacturer will again supply off-field attire for Falcons coaches, management and players to wear at events and engagements when representing the club.

The new agreement will also see Barbour branding continue to feature around Kingston Park Stadium.

Mick Hogan, managing director, Newcastle Falcons said: “We have enjoyed an excellent partnership with Barbour in the last three years and it is great news that we’ve extended our relationship for two further seasons.

“The quality of the clothing that they have supplied has been fantastic and the players really enjoy wearing Barbour. They are an iconic North-East brand whose reach is now truly global. The fit between Newcastle Falcons and Barbour is really strong and everyone at the club is delighted that it will continue through to 2018.”

Helen Barbour, vice chairman, Barbour said: “We are delighted to extend our sponsorship agreement with the Falcons and to continue to support our local Premiership rugby club. Rugby is synonymous with the Barbour lifestyle and it’s great to see the players, coaches and management wearing our clothing when they are out in the community.”
