Last few places available for August's week long residential camp at Barnard Castle School.

Places are filling fast for the Falcons Community Foundation’s Residential Coaching Camp at Barnard Castle School in August, as aspiring future Falcons book up to enjoy a week of intensive rugby training.

Taking place in the stunning rugby environment of the school, that has produced England internationals including Mathew Tait, Rob Andrew and the Underwood brothers, the camp will again offer a unique opportunity for young players to hone their skills.

Throughout the week, the participants will receive over five hours of coaching per day, including visits from the Falcons and Yorkshire Carngeie academy coaching staff, players and other members of the back room team,

Attendees will also pick up hints and tips on the reality of professional sporting life and important advice on how to progress their personal abilities.

Following a jam packed schedule during the day, the boys are then provided with a range of other fun activities on the evenings, such as dodgeball, five-a side, swimming, cricket, rounders and much more.

The culmination of the camp is games day on the final day, where all of the participants get to display their newly honed skills in front of parents and coaches.

As part of the camp, attendees also receive a match ticket for a Newcastle Falcons game in season 16/17 and a piece of Gilbert kit.*

The camp is open to boys aged from 13 to 17 years old and runs from Monday 8th August until Friday 12th August.

It includes three meals per day, plus supper alongside the Falcons Community Foundation coaching team.

Remaining places are priced at £305 and should be secured as soon as possible.
