Newcastle Falcons hooker Jamie Blamire has been named in England Under-20s' Elite Player Squad for the 2016-17 season.
The Cumbrian this season signed his first full-time deal with the Falcons after coming through the AASE scheme at Gosforth Academy.
Blamire toured South Africa with England Under-18s in August, and will now form part of the England Under-20s squad looking to defend the Junior World Championship title they won in June.
The Under-20s squad will convene in Loughborough next week for a three-day training camp, with further week-long camps to follow from December 5 and January 16 ahead of the age-group Six Nations.
Meanwhile, the Falcons have had a number of players selected for England Under-17s and Under-18s development camps in Leeds at the end of October.
The England Academies Under-17s Development Squad includes Newcastle players Cameron Kelementi (Durham School), Tom Marshall (Gosforth Academy) and Morgan Passman (Gosforth Academy), while the England Academies Under-18s Development Squad sees a call-up for Charlie Wilson (RGS Newcastle).
