Falcons Launch Community Club Innitiative

Monday 2 June 2014

Newcastle Falcons have launched their community club initiative for the forthcoming season.

This connections scheme details the way the Falcons will interact with local clubs throughout the North East, North West, Borders and North Yorkshire. Clubs can opt into the system to receive a whole range of exclusive benefits for their clubs and members. We will appoint one Falcons ambassador for each club. Their responsibility is to co-ordinate all Falcons related affairs. The Community Foundation will do more with the clubs in the Connections Programme to establish better links that deliver real benefits. Rugby clubs will enjoy player visits, club development evenings, priority booking for festivals and CPD events, discounts on tickets, events and kit and signed items for raffles. What’s more, clubs involved in the scheme will be able to offer FREE season tickets to under-15s.

With nearly 20 clubs signed up already, the initiative is off to a flying start and we hope it expands further in the pre-season so that all club members can enjoy the benefits.

The Falcons will also be running their group deal discount for games next season, but that format is yet to be confirmed awaiting fixture dates. All clubs, schools and community groups will be eligible for the 15 or more discount when attending fixtures!

If you believe your club should be involved and you haven’t already been contacted by the Falcons, please get in touch with emily.oconnor@newcastle-falcons.co.uk
