Wednesday 8 June 2016

Newcastle Falcons' Andrew Davidson and Callum Chick both enjoyed a winning start to the Junior World Championship in Manchester on Tuesday.

Davidson started in the second row for Scotland as they defeated Australia 15-10 at the AJ Bell Stadium, the lock-forward having joined the Falcons from Glasgow Warriors this summer.

Chick was then part of the England side which opened up their tournament with a 48-10 thrashing of Italy, the Ponteland native starting at No 8.

England and Scotland face each other on Saturday at 6pm, with the match live on Sky Sports 3.
