Latest fans forum provides another evening of unparalleled access to club's hierarchy
Newcastle Falcons hosted over 100 supporters on Tuesday evening as the latest of the club’s Fans Forum events took place at Kingston Park.
First launched in 2013, the meetings offer all of the clubs supporters the opportunity to put questions to the clubs hierarchy, in an informal event that allows for honest, open and frank answers to the questions most important to the fans.
On another successful evening, Chairman Semore Kurdi, Director of Rugby Dean Richards and Managing Director Mick Hogan answered questions that covered topics including the status of Kingston Park as the club’s long term home, Premiership Rugby’s salary cap, marquee signings at the Falcons and match-day experience.
Other points raised over the evening included the influence of attack coach Dave Walder on the club’s back line, the fantastic take up from the clubs supporters of Rugby World Cup tickets, which saw the Falcons have the third highest take up of any club in the country and how the club is now able to support its players achieve their aims and play at the highest levels.
Once again, points raised by supporters aimed at improving their experiences at Kingston Park were taken on-board and will be worked through the club to ensure Premiership Rugby remains an attractive and entertaining day out for the public.
The next event is scheduled to take place in early spring with full details due to be announced early in the new year and supporters are urged to attend and get the answers to the questions they want to ask.
