Newcastle Falcons have announced that their upcoming LV=Cup game will be played in honour of Armistice Day with special tickets offers for members of the Armed Forces.
Newcastle Falcons will play their next home match on Friday 7th November against Cardiff Blues in the LV= Cup.
With the game taking place so close to Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday, the club has chosen to dedicate this match to the occasion and as such will be offering free and discounted tickets to members of the Armed Forces past and present.
Melanie Magee, Head of Marketing and Community said: “This time of year is an important one for all of us to reflect on the hard work and sacrifices that our Forces past and present have made over the years and continue to make today.
“As a mark of our thanks and respect to those brave and dedicated individuals, Newcastle is working with a number of organisations, including the Forces themselves and Tickets for Troops, to promote discounted tickets for what we hope will be an entertaining game against Cardiff.”
On the night of the game the club will be marking the occasion with a military band and bugler, and a wreath laid in the centre of the pitch before kick off.
Tickets for this game start from only £10 for current and past members of the Armed Forces and Emergency Services (usual RRP £15), £8 for concessions and £5 for juniors and can be purchased by calling the Falcons 24 hour Ticket Hotline on 0871 226 6060 or by clicking on the links below.
The game against Cardiff Blues kicks off at 8pm on Friday 7th November. Regular priced tickets for the game start from only £15 for adults and £7.50 for juniors and are available online or from the Falcons’ 24 hour Ticket Hotline.
