Doddie Weir is asking Newcastle Falcons fans to join his team and help raise funds for Motor Neurone Disease by taking part in the Doddie's Active Inter-District challenge.
The mass-participation exercise event runs through January 2021.
Five teams from the old Scottish Inter-District championship: The South, Edinburgh, Glasgow, North & Midlands and Scottish Exiles are taking part.
Donate to join your District and you'll get a free team snood sent out to you. Log any exercise you take and your miles go into your District's total. Any exertion counts, even skiing, sailing and horse riding!
On February 6 the #DoddieAID Inter-District champions will be unveiled for the most generous district, with the most members who have logged the most miles!
Doddie, the Newcastle Falcons great who has been diagnosed with the currently-incurable condition, appealed directly to the Falcons' fanbase, saying: "Can you please help me spread the word.
"It’s the New Year and what better way to burn off all those festive treats than by exercising and helping to cure MND?
"Please help me make the South, Scotland’s inter-district champions once again by joining my team in the Doddie Aid challenge, raising money for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.
"Rob Wainwright is getting rather too smug with his team’s efforts and we need as many people as possible to sign up to the challenge and declare their allegiance for the South of Scotland to help wipe that grin off his face.
"It couldn’t be easier to sign up, just visit www.doddieaid.com and within a couple of minutes you’ll be good to go.
"Of course, no great sporting team is complete without kit, and when you sign up and donate you’ll receive a team snood.
"Everyone is encouraged to join in whether you’re a Kilted Kiwi, a Jock Bok, or from closer to home - please get involved and let’s have some fun while helping to kick MND into touch."
