Zach Kibirige starts on the wing for England Under-20s against France in the opening game of their Six Nations campaign this Friday at the Stade Leo Lagrange in Draguignan (kick-off 7.55pm GMT).
Kibirige, 19, was shortlisted for the LV= Breakthrough Player Award earlier this week after a solid display at Saracens last Sunday. And the Teesside flyer will be hoping to continue his impressive form when his England side travel to France.
“Playing France in France is about as tough as you can get in the Six Nations,” said head coach Nick Walshe.
“We played them twice last season and performed well on both occasions. Will that have a bearing on Friday night? We’d like to think so, but we need to execute our basics well and the rest will take care of itself,” he added.
