Newcastle Falcons' Nili Latu led the league in carries during Newcastle Falcons' Aviva Premiership visit of Wasps last weekend.

The Tonga captain carried the ball 23 times during the game according to the latest Opta stats, two more than his nearest challenger, Harlequins full-back Mike Brown.

Club-mate Marcus Watson made the most metres with ball in hand across the round of matches, gaining 130 metres during the 34-20 defeat. Full-back Simon Hammersley was third on the list with a total of 110 metres, the season-long stats also showing Falcons players in a positive light.

Club captain Will Welch has made the second-most tackles across the entire league campaign with 195, Sean Robinson second in the list for line-outs win with 81.

The Falcons are next in action on Saturday when they make the Aviva Premiership trip to Harlequins. Kick-off at the Twickenham Stoop is at 3pm.
