Local rugby clubs will be flying the flag at St James' Park on Saturday as Newcastle Falcons play in The Big One against Sale Sharks.
Any local rugby club bringing more than 100 people to the 5.30pm Gallagher Premiership kick-off has been given a specially-made banner featuring the logos of both the Falcons and their own club.
Gateshead RFC have the biggest group with more than 450 people attending, while the mascots and guard of honour before kck-off at St James' Park will be made up of representatives from our community clubs.
Match-day morning sees more than 100 teams playing at Kingston Park and the adjacent Bullocksteads ground in the Land Rover Premiership Cup, with all participants receiving a free ticket to The Big One.
Tickets for The Big One at St James' Park are still on sale and can be bought by clicking here or calling 0344 372 1892. Tickets bought before match-day will be £5 cheaper than those purchased on Saturday.
