Orlando makes history with Argentina

Saturday 14 November 2020

Newcastle Falcons centre Matias Orlando helped make history on Saturday as part of the first Argentina team to beat New Zealand.

The summer signing played the full 80 minutes in Los Pumas' 25-15 victory over the All Blacks, kicking off his country's Tri-Nations campaign in spectacular style.

The 29-year-old was winning his 45th cap for his country, with the former Jaguares man set to link up with Newcastle around mid-December following the culmination of the Tri-Nations.

Argentina are next in action on Saturday November 21 when they face Australia in an 8.45am UK-time kick-off - a match which will be shown live on Sky Sports.
