Monday 21 January 2019

With no confirmed Newcastle Falcons home game for the next six weeks, why not take in some rugby league at Kingston Park Stadium?

The venue hosts a double bill of action on Saturday February 16 with Newcastle Thunder hosting Doncaster at 2.30pm in BetFred League 1, followed at 5pm when Toronto Wolfpack meet Widnes Vikings in the BetFred Championship.

Both the East and West Stands will be open on the day with tickets priced £20 for adults, £15 for concessions and £10 for juniors. To book, click here or call 0871 226 6060.

Hospitality is also available in the West Stand, priced at £40 + vat per person for a two-course meal. To book hospitality please email corporatesales@newcastle-falcons.co.uk or call 0191 214 2892.

The season-opening double header sees Newcastle Thunder kicking off their 2019 league campaign, with key players and new signings including Liam Finn, Misi Taulapapa, Keal Carlile, Jared Blanke and Lewis Young.

In the 5pm game Widnes Vikings are playing their first match since dropping down from Super League, boasting a talented squad including Anthony Gelling, Krisnan Inu, Harrison Hansen and Wellington Albert.

Toronto are led by Super-League-winning coach Brian McDermott, with their squad including star names such as Ashton Sims, Darcy Lussick, Ricky Leutele and Jon Wilkin.
