Newcastle Falcons' Under-17s began their season with a 22-17 home win over Sale Sharks on Sunday.
The Falcons had led 17-5 at half-time in the Kingston Park clash, with their tries coming through Scott Rochester (2), Nicko Skyes and Tom Cressey.
The Falcons' Under-17s are next due to be in action on Sunday April 3, when they take part in a festival at Warwick.
That is followed on April 10 with an away game against Yorkshire at Queen Ethelburga's, before they take on Yorkshire and Leicester Tigers in a three-way competition on April 23 in Doncaster.
