Scottish International looking for performance to be turned into results against Todd Balckadder's side

Hooker Scott Lawson wants to send the Kingston Park crowd home happy this evening by securing an Aviva Premiership win against Bath Rugby in today’s 19:45 kick off.

Having competed strongly against the top two sides in the league in consecutive weeks over the Christmas period, the Scotsman says now is the time for that to be converted into results.

Speaking in the build-up to the game, Lawson said: “We’ve played what were the top three sides in the league coming into this block of games and we as a club now expect to win these games. We’ve shown with our performances we are capable of it and it's just about getting those points on the board.”

Assessing the opposition for round 13, Lawson added: “Bath play a very structured game but one that allows them to express themselves as individuals. The almost a bit of hybrid between Wasps and Sarries and are packed with quality.

“We know as a collective that if we perform as we have done in the last few weeks, tidy up in a few areas, then it will be a cracking game.”
