Women's Premiership clash part of Saturday double

Women's World Cup winner Tamara Taylor gives the lowdown ahead of Darlington Mowden Sharks facing Bristol Ladies at Kingston Park this Saturday

Women’s Sport Week 2016 will see Kingston Park Stadium play host to Women’s Premiership action this Saturday as Darlington Mowden Park Sharks take on Bristol Ladies as part of a Premiership double header.

Ahead of the Falcons facing Bristol in Aviva Premiership Rugby at 15:00, the Shark will take on the West Country counterparts from 11:45 as the top tier of the women’s game is hosted at the ground for the first time.

The Sharks will be looking to take a second win of the season after beating Wasps Ladies 43-19 in round two, while Bristol will be out to maintain their unbeaten start to the season and enhance their standing at the top of the table.

Ahead of the game, Falcons TV have been speaking with Sharks’ star and Women’s Rugby World Cup winner Tamara Taylor to find out more about the club and the intensity of competition in the league.
