Match day hospitality prices have also been reviewed and the remaining fixtures have been categorised and priced accordingly, with prices starting from just £40.

Commercial director Duncan Edward said: “We are putting in place new match day pricing that is simple and affordable to all, as we aim to fill Kingston Park in a drive to get more fans to get behind the team in this defining season.

“When we launched our ticket pricing in April we believed we would be playing Premiership rugby but as a consequence of a very late decision by the RFU, that wasn’t to be and as such it became too late to amend what was already in place.

“We have therefore taken the considered decision to change our current pricing structure, rewarding our faithful supporters and with one eye on hopefully, before the season is out, filling Kingston Park to the rafters.

“With the Falcons/Tonga game and the Saxons/Scotland games added to the fixtures, we felt the timing was right to review match day prices and put in place a simple and affordable pricing structure. Having run in nearly 40 tries in our unbeaten start to the season, entertainment is guaranteed.”

Director of rugby Dean Richards said: “It is a fantastic initiative to repay the faithful, and open our doors to all rugby supporters in a more affordable way.

“I would love to see the team playing in front of a full house. When Kingston Park is packed it is quite a special place.

“Couple that with the Tongan game looming and the opportunity for any child to see the ‘Sipi Tau’ live, is a once in a lifetime experience, and at the right price so don’t miss out.”

The Falcons continue their quest for promotion back to the Aviva Premiership this Friday against Rotherham Titans at Kingston Park (kick-off 8pm).
