Spencer and Redshaw in England U20s defeat
Newcastle Falcons pair Oli Spencer and Ben Redshaw were both part of the England Under-20s squad on Wednesday as they fell to a 45-17 away defeat against their Georgian counterparts.
Spencer and Redshaw were named as replacements for the game at Avchala Stadium in the Georgian capital, Tbilisi.
The tie was the second of two friendlies against Georgia, with England claiming a 31-7 victory in the first fixture on Friday, June 7.
England’s next fixtures seen them move into the Junior World Championships in the South African city of Cape Town. They face pool games against Argentina (June 29, 1pm UK time), Fiji (July 4, 3.30pm) and South Africa (July 9, 6pm).
