Newcastle Falcons Supporters Club and Newcastle Thunder have come together with an offer for members a great opportunity to get to know the other code before enjoying a Kingstone Press League 1 game.

On Sunday 12th July, ahead of the Hemel Stags at Kingston Park, members of the Thunder coaching team & playing squad will address fans to provide an insight into the sport, before the action starts on the main pitch.

With the intention of bridging the gap between Union and League, it is the Supporters Club and Thunder’s aim that members will then enjoy the skillful and fast paced game in the company of fellow cross code supporters.

It is also hoped that by outlining what makes League the sport that it is, that supporters of both the Falcons and Thunder will band together and enjoy an afternoon at Kingston Park in the summer sunshine

The event begins at 12.30, in the function room at the Tap & Tackle, with the game kicking off at 3pm.

This unique offer is open to all members of the Newcastle Falcons Supporters Club, and is priced at £10 for match ticket, pie & a pint. If you’re not a member, don’t worry, as it will be possible to join on the day.

Places must be booked in advance by emailing laneemma@hotmail.com to make sure there are enough of those all-important pies.
