Tap & Tackle announces new pricing schedule

Newcastle Falcons’ clubhouse bar, the Tap & Tackle has announced a newly revised schedule of prices for drink on non match day’s allowing the stylish venue to be an even more attractive venue during the week.

With a standard pint now down to £2.80, with further reductions down to £2.50 during the venue’s happy hours, the Tap & Tackle is looking to build on the positive reviews it has been generating with residents of the local area and people from farther afield.

Director of Conferences and Events Jane Shepstone said: “After a successful six months since the refurbished bar reopened, we have been able to improve our purchasing with our suppliers and pleased to be able to pass these savings onto regular customers.”

“With a host of events taking place at the Tap & Tackle, including quiz nights, busker’s nights and live bands on a Saturday evening, we have had very positive feedback from the local community about the bar and want to build on that.”

“We screened every match from the Rugby World Cup and intend televised sport to continue to be a big feature for the Tap & Tackle, with the current Rugby League test series between England and New Zealand the next big event to be on the TV’s in the bar.”

“We’re pleased with what we have achieved so far and hope the new price schedule will encourage more people to come and try out what we have to offer.”

The Tap & Tackle, located on the first floor of the club’s East Stand is open 08:30 – 22:00 Monday – Thursday, 08:30 – late Friday, 11:00 – late Saturday and 12:00 – 22:00 Sunday.
