The Big One – Falcons take on Tomahawk challenge
Newcastle Falcons put big appetites to the test ahead of The Big One last Friday, as the took part in a steak-eating challenge at the award-winning Tomahawk Steakhouse on the Quayside.
Vereniki Goneva, Rodney Ah You, Joel Matavesi and Logovi’I Mulipola all took on a steak weighing 2.5kg along with 4 sides, with just 30 minutes to make their way through the mountain of food.
The challenge took place as the whole squad took to the restaurant for some pre-event team bonding and to promote their upcoming game at St James’ Park.
