Train like a Pro another success

The Falcons Community Foundation delivered another successful Train Like a Pro camp last weekend, giving aspiring young rugby players the chance to sample the life of a professional.

Taking part ahead of the Aviva Premiership match against Bath Rugby, the day was a huge success, as participants enjoyed a series of workshops including time on the main pitch, strength and conditioning gym sessions and video analysis.

All participants also received a Gilbert rugby branded t-shirt unique to the camp, as well as a ticket for the club’s game against Bath.

Brett Connon, Joe Craggs and Dan Temm were on hand to help out with the day’s activities, with the Kiwi back row assisting with the video analysis session, while Connon and Craggs assisted Falcons Community Foundation coaches with the training aspects of the day.

With Train like a pro forming part of a year long offering of coaching camps, the next set on offer by the Falcons Community Foundation will take place during February half term.
