Vacancy: First team rehab therapist

Alongside the head physiotherapist the role includes the planning and delivery of return to play plans for the club’s first team players.

Reporting to the head physiotherapist, the successful candidate will be expected to fulfil a number of key roles.

**Key responsibilities:**

* Delivery of an elite standard of rehabilitation alongside head physiotherapist and senior physiotherapists.

* Lead daily monitoring/screening of players and report back to head physiotherapist on areas for concern.

* Monitor players’ corrective exercises based on daily screening scores that are in decline.

* Deliver specific soft tissue care for members of the first team squad, including home and away first team match days.

* Deliver first aid match-day pitch side cover for the A-Team fixtures.

* Build on existing links with local universities and colleges and organise weekly soft tissue provision.

* Assist in the delivery of daily prehab sessions that best prepare the squad and individuals for training.

* Contribute to staff in-service training programme.

Please note this job will include unsociable and weekend hours associated with training and match days.

**Essential requirements:**

* Bsc (Hons) degree in physiotherapy or Bsc (Hons) sports rehabilitation.

* Minimum of two years experience working in an elite sport and multi-disciplinary team.

* HPC and CSP/ BASRaT registered.

* Full UK driving licence.

**Desired requirements:**

* RFU PHICIS qualification.

* Currently working within a full-time sporting team.

* Previous experience working in elite rugby.

Salary: £25,000-£27,000 (dependant on experience).
